Samadhi is the experience of absorption to the point that there is no-mind.  There are many different degrees of Samadhi, however the general principal is as follows.

A child will play with a toy and be completely absorbed in the joy of the object-experience.  At first his mind is absorbed in the toy and he is receiving enjoyment from it.  As he continues to play he becomes more absorbed until the joy he is feeling becomes the objective mood.  Where the experience moves unnoticed from the object to the subject and there is no-mind present.

For example, when Radha consort of Krishna thinks of her beloved Krishna to the extent that that she moves to the experience of her love she is then experiencing herself as pure consciousness, gradually she loses herself more and more until she becomes absorbed in the no-mind state and becomes one with Krishna, the object of her concentration.

There is a subtle difference between the state of objectlessness and subjectlessness.  When one experiences the object to the point that he becomes completely absorbed in the object, a transition is made in consciousness that is universal.   At this juncture the subject is enjoying itself, where one awakens into the experience of his true Self.  There are many different states of this consciousness and that is the point of practicing Kriya Yoga.

It is not the intent of Self Realization Lessons to describe the experiences but to assist others in understanding that in their own lives they have in fact experienced Samadhi.  If one is interested in tasting this experienced 24-7 or to prepare to leave the physical body at the end of ones life, in a vibrational state of pure love and devotion, practice Kriya Yoga unceasingly.

Let us not worry about the violence in the world, the politics of debt and all the other seemingly important issues of today.   Many of todays Gurus or teachers speak in platitudes , but let us focus on our true Self, let us practice our chosen technique and the vibrational strength of cosmic at absorption will change the world around us.

If you do not wish to practice please continue to worry about the important issues of today, eventually we will meet in the same place, for I will meet you there.
